Hello! I’m Rebecca, (well Bec)
I’m a mum of 2 girls, my eldest is a tornado of fun, excitement and sometimes a little too much confidence for a 2 year old! My youngest is a sweetheart who is exploring baby led Weaning, she’s honestly the happiest baby you could meet and to top of our crazy household we have a slightly needy dog who is longing for someone in the house to give her some affection.
I came across Hypnobirthing when I birthed Emily in 2015 and again for Rosie in 2017. I fell in love with the course, the philosophy and after having 2 really positive births I love teaching the techniques and method to other expectant parents. If I can help parents experience a positive birth then I see that as a huge privilege and we then have more people to spread the word and wonders of Hypnobirthing through their own eyes and eliminate negative birth stories - one birth at a time!
I’d love to supply homemade cakes to my classes each week, but I think you’ll enjoy something that I’ve brought from a shop more. So I bring cake for us to enjoy during the break x
My classes are friendly, confidential and informative. Setting you up ready for you to achieve the birth you want, all in the comfort of the lovely Nesting Place!
Thank you for reading a little about me & I hope you can join me on one of my courses.
Bec offers her Hypnobirthing sessions from 6 - 8:30pm, over four sessions on a Tuesday.

Hello! And huge congratulations on your pregnancy!
I have been teaching Hypnobirthing in the Chelmsford area since 2011 and run my own business ‘Bun in the Oven Birthing’. I am known locally as ‘the lady with the cakes’ as I tend to bake for all occasions – you won’t go hungry in my classes as I provide homemade cakes to munch on!
I discovered hypnobirthing when I was pregnant with my first child, George. A good friend of mine had just had a baby and she described his birth as the most ‘romantic and amazing’ experience of her life. I was shocked. These are not the words usually associated with giving birth! I had to find out more. It completely changed my perception of giving birth and left me feeling empowered, confident and really excited at the prospect. I went on to have a fantastic home birth, in a birth pool with no pain relief needed. Hypnobirthing gave me the tools to achieve this. I have since gone on to have two more children; Poppy and Arthur. They were also birthed at home and in water.
I want other women to experience birth in the most positive way just as I did, wherever and however they choose to do it. There is no need to fear it. I absolutely love teaching the course as I see such a huge change in the couples as the course the progresses and they become confident and empowered.
I am thrilled to be teaching my classes from The Nesting Place.
