This is the missing piece of the puzzle of your antenatal toolkit.
This 1 hour physiotherapy class, created by Natasha (see more info below) ensures that you receive the appropriate advice, information, exercises and education to prepare your body throughout and after pregnancy to optimise your experience and prevent unwanted pain.
This is a one-off session that will compliment your birth preparation ante natal classes beautifully.
So what does this session include and involve?
- How to care for your backs, pelvis and pelvic floor muscles throughout your pregnancy
- How to specifically strengthen your core and perform mobility exercises
- Watch live demonstrations of optimal positioning and postural guidance, lifting and bending techniques
- The management of pelvic girdle pain (PGP or SPD)
- Small intimate classes, to allow for questions, interactions and demonstrations
You will also be provided with up to date, Information booklets covering all of the topics covered during this session, for you to take home (in case ‘baby brain’ kicks in) ensuring you have everything available to refer to at any time.
At what point in my pregnancy can I come along?
The earliest that we recommend you start is from 16 weeks onward and will happily see you up until 38 weeks.

Who will be running the session?
I am Natasha, BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, HCPC, MCSP, and I am a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 11 years of clinical experience across acute and community based hospitals and clinics within the NHS, the private sector and in military establishments.
I have a special interest in Women’s Health and ensuring that women receive the appropriate advice, information and exercises to prepare their bodies throughout and after pregnancy.
Outside of work I love road cycling, going to the gym and travelling! Though I don’t think that I’ll be going away again for some time as my fiancé and I are beginning our wedding planning! I love food and hold an active interest in nutrition.
My class is informative, fun and confidential. It complements your birth preparation, antenatal classes like tea and cake, ensuring that you have all of the information and advice you need for your pregnancy.
