Baby Talk 4m+

This is a delightful and informative 6 week course for babies from 4 months to around 12 months and is a wonderful opportunity for you to engage with your baby at this special time. Baby Talk classes introduce you to the importance of early communication skills and how to develop them.

We help parents to play with their babies in a way that develops early skills such as eye contact, listening skills, turn taking and sound awareness. Each session will include information and handouts relating to child speech & language development, a selection of fun activities, songs and rhymes, all based on a specific spotlight each week. The topics we will cover include:

* an introduction to early communication skills
* listening & attention
* eye contact
* turn taking
* copying
* exploring sounds

We encourage parents to support their babies in heuristic/ sensory play through child led discovery. Baby Talk classes have a relaxed feel, are a great place for parents to meet and make new friends and include tea and cake!!!
